How to Research TUM Courses

Visit the TUM Vorlesungsverzeichnis. Select the Fakultät (department) you wish to visit.

Once the Fakultät menu appears, look for the small box on the bottom left-hand side (Forschung und Lehre), and then click on Lehrveranstaltungen. A lengthy list of course offerings will appear. Be advised, however, that not all course titles listed provide course descriptions.

Once the Lehrveranstaltungen list appears, you can sort (Sortierung) the list by course title (Titel); this option is found in the box at the top right-hand side of the page.

When you click on a course, a new window appears. Note that you can also select an English version (Sprache > Englisch) if available; this option again is found in the box at the top right-hand side of the page.

In the German version, you may find information about the course next to Inhalt. Additional information may be available if you click on the LV-Unterlagen and/or Linksammlung/Literaturliste links, which will open another window.
