German
and Engineering
In
2003 Wayne State University introduced Michigan's first double-degree
program in German and Mechanical Engineering.
This
five-year course of study allows qualified students to earn both a B.A.
in German and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; the program includes
participation in the Junior Year in Munich Program and an internship
in Germany.
This
program is offered by the Department of German and Slavic Studies, and
the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
